Freightliner’s SmartSource app is an informational app that provides training and marketing to drivers. In order to improve the app experience, I redesigned the app interface and functionality to focus on the needs of the drivers. New functionality includes a user account, truck fault information, and basic information regarding truck health. The advertising content is removed as it does not impact most drivers. The training content carries over to the new version with a simplified interface.
